Biggie and Tupac
Directed by Nick Broomfield

This was a very interview-heavy documentary compared to most that I've watched. And so, it was very hard to stay engaged. Having people simply talk at me for 100+ minutes about a topic I'm not too interested in wasn't appetizing, especially since Nick Broomfield doesn't have the most enthusiastic story telling voice ever. Nick Broomfield has a hefty documentary repertoire under his belt, none of which were even closely related to this topic and it shows quite avidly. It seemed out of place to have a middle aged, middle class white man with a camera crew walking around making passive-aggressive accusations at people close to the victims. It seemed to not sit well with the locals, and I'm surprised something more hostile didn't happen, although, perhaps they cut it out. Regardless, it's a good, informative documentary that doesn't appear to take any explicit side and aims to inform the viewer about a historic event.
